| LONG LIVE THE 2021 SEASON! |
| For the past few months, YCGB officials and their YCT partners have started preparing for the 2021 season of our Gaou club. The season will officially start on Monday, July 5, 2021! But our team of instructors will start installing the nautical base from June 21, 2021. Do not hesitate to come and say hello. Our base manager will be Jean-Christophe Durbec for the 3rd consecutive year. He will be supported by two new monitors: Marc Payen (40 years old, BE who will be able to provide security on Sundays, alternating with Jean-Christophe), Sébastien Vaché (20 years old, CQP). We have reserved the same apartment for them as the last year, in La Ris, at the home of one of our members whom we thank for his always warm welcome. The fleet will be the same as in 2020, except for our 10 inflatable paddles which will be supplemented this year by 10 new high quality rigid paddles. The latest news from the FFV and the Ministry of Sports indicate that, this summer, the Covid constraints will be much the same as in 2020 with perhaps a little more freedom for the organization of regattas. We are now used to it and the enthusiasm and generosity of our members allows us to overcome these obstacles without worry. |
