For the children of Gaou Bénat it is a useful and formative leisure activity, but also a moment of meeting and sharing with the other children of the Domaine.

Our sailing school has a resolutely educational ambition and wants to promote the values of effort, courage, solidarity, sharing, competition, discipline, and respect for others. Qualified and experienced instructors transmit these values at the same time as the knowledge necessary for a good practice of water sports, in the best safety conditions.

FAMILIARIZING CHILDREN WITH THE SEA

Our children, usually urban, are often afraid of the sea in the first approach. It is essential to amarinate them so that they can fully enjoy their holidays in the heavenly setting of gaou Bénat Bay and the Golden Islands. The instructors of the sailing school will teach them as much the pleasures of navigation as the risks of the sea and how to prevent them.

CREATING A FRIENDLY SPIRIT

The designers of the subdivision had wanted the Club (with its restaurant, its tennis courts and its nautical activities) to be the Agora of the Estate, the place where all the residents meet and alternate sports activities and meetings in front of a small glass or a good Provencal dish. The nautical club participates actively in this objective, particularly on regatta days when the award ceremony is inevitably the pretext for sharing a drink of friendship.

TEACHING RESPECT FOR NATURE

Learning to sail means learning to respect nature and, first of all, to protect the sea from pollution of all kinds. It is moving by the force of the wind alone, without the help of fossil fuels. The boat club is also the tool to avoid the invasion of the beaches by parking boats and to keep the back beaches clean and beautiful.

There is no longer an announcement of sale or rental of a villa in the Domain that does not refer to its boat club. It has become one of the essential assets for the attractiveness of the subdivision.
